Kaggle Competitions

So there have been a lot of changes in my life since my last blog post. Since graduating from graduate school in May, I have begun working at a consulting firm in Chicago, where my work is related mostly to quantitative finance and auditing financial models so to speak. I am finding that industry is a lot different from academia, and I now have a lot more time to myself than I used to have in graduate school. 

So I've begun working on Kaggle projects in my free time. The one I am currently working on is the Walmart one. 

I have a couple of ideas that I want to test out, which are:

1. Nested Logit Regression
2. Multinomial Logit Regression
